Varsity Soccer Captain on the 2017 Team

By Lillian Ruelle

The BHS Boy’s Soccer team has had a terrific season in 2017, with a record of 14-1-1 the team is ranked number 57 in the United States and number 1 in Colorado. Varsity captain Quinn Frankovsky thinks unity is a key component to their success.

“The best part of being captain is being able to lead my friends and brothers; being a role model for my teammates” said Quinn.

However, there is always a challenge. “One challenge is being able to come together as one unit or efficiently playing against the tougher teams,” said Quinn. “How we can overcome this is by dedicating ourselves to this and loving each other.”

According to Quinn, the team’s biggest success was against Loveland. “Every single person was able to contribute and show the love that we have for each other.

As the playoffs continue against rival Fairview High School the team is playing their best soccer yet. “I am looking forward to spending time with my teammates as we enter the post playoffs.”
